Edward Weagle is a regulatory specialist with more than 20 years of professional experience in the field of Waste Site Clean-up. As an LSP and CHMM (Certified Hazardous Material Manager) his background lends to his consulting capacity in guiding clients in compliance with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) requirements, 310 CMR 40.0.
Mr. Weagle’s experience includes 12 years of employment with the Massachusetts Department of Environment Protection’s (MassDEP) Bureau of Waste Site Clean-up program, where his duties included Auditing MCP submittals for technical adequacy and regulatory compliance, responding to oil and hazardous material releases as an Emergency Responder, Site Management, Permitting, and Compliance & Enforcement activities. He also assisted MassDEP in the development of their policies and regulations. Ed’s intimate knowledge of the workings of MassDEP, their staff, and their decision making processes, make him an invaluable resource to anyone involved in a site assessment or cleanup project anywhere in Massachusetts.
