Thomas Speight has a diverse skill set that includes site assessment and remediation, hazardous materials management and industrial compliance work. This experience includes thirteen years of experience with remediation projects under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan at a wide array of properties including petroleum facilities, dry cleaners, landfills, Brownfield sites and RCRA hazardous waste facilities.
Tom has also conducted over 700 due-diligence Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for industrial, commercial, residential, and agricultural properties in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Tom has a particular professional interest in former manufactured gas plants and other coal-tar sites.
Tom’s other experience includes working with PCBs in building materials, contingency planning for oil depots and industrial facilities, right-to-know reporting, recycling permits, and hazardous waste management. Tom is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.
